About Me

I started taking photos back in Primary school, from school trips to family holidays my camera went everywhere with me.

In my early teens, I would regularly go to airshows with my Dad and Brother, Aviation is a big passion of mine, and taking photos of aircraft just seemed natural to progress to. I would read books and magazines about photography (no internet back then) and learn as much as possible. At college, I was studying to work in the printing trade, and using large format cameras was a regular occurrence, so my understanding of photography progressed further.

Later I started traveling around the country in my free time enjoying the challenge of capturing the scene in front of me.

Now over 30 years later Iā€™m still learning and challenging myself to get the best image I can and explore as much as possible.

More than anything I enjoy being by the coast or in the mountainous areas of the UK, where weather conditions and tide times can change the landscape so much in just a few hours.
